  • All of the benefits of Langstroth, with minimal heavy lifting
  • Inspections and management are MUCH less disturbing to the colony
  • Compatible with industry standard equipment (see Specifications)
  • Extensive management information is available in the Resources section of our site
  • High-quality Amish-made woodenware from Pennsylvania, with select parts sourced globally

FEATURES

Below are just some of the features that make the Two Queen Keeper an easier way to manage bees!

  • No-lift access to all of the frames in each brood chamber for bee-friendlier inspections
  • Removable frame guards protect the ends of the frames from propolis
  • Follower board allows for brood chamber size adjustment (2-8 frames)
  • Simplifies and expedites the highly effective Demaree method for swarm control (90% effective with some practice), perfect for the backyard beekeeper who wants to make honey without adding new hives every year
  • Smaller brood chamber volume is believed to help with thermoregulation, defense against pests, and more
  • Capable of producing hundreds of pounds of honey and great for raising queens
  • Check mite levels and apply treatments without any lifting
  • Each side can be overwintered on 8 or 13 deep frames, with easy emergency feeding
  • Tempered glass observation window over half of the brood chamber for assessing hive strength without disturbing any bees
  • Space under roof can be used for hive records, thermometer, insulation, and more

2 Queen keeper hive

This hive went together just perfect. This is my second one, I also have a 1 queen keeper. I am 70 years young and love my bees but getting too hard to work those heavy boxes. I have one with bees in it now and I have to stop myself from going into it all the time!!!

Very well build.

The advice to install the boxes right away is a good one. Some of my boards started warping just a little bit. I had no problem assembling the hive. Can't wait till spring.
