The One Queen Keeper - Single Brood Box from The Keeper's Hive provides beekeepers with the ability to manage honey bee colonies without needing to lift heavy supers. By streamlining and simplifying nearly every aspect of colony management, the One Queen Keeper relieves stress on the beekeeper so they can keep their bees healthier.

  • No-lift access to all of the frames in the brood chamber for bee-friendlier inspections
  • Removable frame guards protect the ends of the frames from propolis
  • Follower board allows for brood chamber size adjustment (2-8 frames)
  • Simplifies and expedites the highly effective Demaree method for swarm control (90% effective with some practice), perfect for the backyard beekeeper who wants to make honey without adding new hives every year
  • Smaller hive volume helps with thermoregulation, defense against pests, comb building and more
  • Excellent for harvesting seasonal honey as well as producing comb honey
  • Check mite levels and apply treatments without any lifting
  • Can be overwintered with 8 or 13 frames, with easy emergency feeding

Got our Single Queen Hive assembled

We got our hive back in DEC when the fund raising sales were shipped. We assembled and painted it. The video instructions as well as the manual were a great help. I did miss up on a couple of the latches and had to drill my own pilot holes. While we didn't show the putting it together we did do an overview of the great packing, Quality of the wood as well as how the hive looks when finished in our Youtube channel at SolitudeAcres.
Overall we love the Hive and are very excited about getting the bees put in it within the next month or so as see how we do with all the possibilities this hive has. We have also recommended the hive to some friends that our getting ready to order it. At some point we will getting the two queen hive. Thank you for a awesome product. God Bless
